The natural minerals Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide act as an effective, natural reflector of sun rays and provide protection from UVA and UVB rays. Sun rays are reflected back through the application of the powder, instead of being absorbed into the skin.
Zinc Oxide has an antibacterial effect and can also reduce skin irritation, repel moisture and protect the skin. Zinc Oxide is widely used in baby products and is ideal for sensitive skin.
Because the natural minerals lay on top of the skin – so are not absorbed – the mineral sun protection works immediately after application.
