Wij vinden het belangrijk om de kennis over huidproblemen en in dit geval het ontstaan van pigmentvlekken te delen. Zodat we steeds bewuster worden hoe pigmentvlekken kunnen ontstaan en we ze kunnen voorkomen.<\/p>\n<h3>Wanneer zag je de eerste pigmentvlekken verschijnen?<\/h3>\n<p>Sinds mijn 20ste heb ik pigmentvlekken in mijn gezicht met name rond mijn mond en wangen. Dit kwam in eerste instantie door de anticonceptiepil. Door lage gedoseerde anticonceptie te gebruiken werden de vlekken minder.<\/p>\n<h3>Weet je waardoor bij jouw pigmentvlekken zijn ontstaan?<\/h3>\n<p>Ja, door hormonen, ook tijdens de zwangerschappen kreeg ik meer pigmentvlekken. En teveel in de zon met onvoldoende bescherming kreeg ik ook veel pigmentvlekken. Vroeger deed je niet zoveel aan bescherming tegen de zon. En in mijn jonge tienerjaren regelmatig verbrand tijdens de mooie zomervakanties in Spanje of op de tennisbaan. Als je door de zon uiteindelijk heel bruin wordt zie je uiteindelijk de pigmentvlekken niet meer maar later in het jaar weer wel.<\/p>\n<h3>Waar op je lichaam heb je last van pigmentvlekken?<\/h3>\n<p>Nu op het hele lichaam. Vooral in mijn gezicht en ook boven mijn wenkbrauwen.<\/p>\n<h3>Gebruik je producten om je pigmentvlekken te camoufleren?<\/h3>\n<p>Jazeker, alleen in mijn gezicht gebruik ik een foundation zodat je de vlekken minder ziet en sinds vorig jaar de Sunday Brush. Ik vind het het vervelend als ik in mijn gezicht of decollet\u00e9 door de zon er rood of verbrandt eruit zien. De Sunday Brush geeft mij optimale UV bescherming. De kleur die mijn huidtype past heeft ook als voordeel dat je mijn pigmentvlekken minder ziet.<\/p>\n<h3>Zitten pigmentvlekken in de familie?<\/h3>\n<p>Pigmentvlekken zit zeker bij ons in de familie. Mijn moeder heeft het ook in haar gezicht en mijn oma heeft het ook heel erg gehad. Zij ging daardoor nooit in de zon zitten. Ook mijn moeder inmiddels 79 jaar gebruikt nu ook de Sunday Brush elke dag voor haar gezicht. Ze is er super blij mee omdat je haar pigmentvlekken minder ziet en ze meteen beschermd is voor UV straling.<\/p>\n<p>Er zijn verschillende vormen van pigmentvlekken, zoals ouderdomsvlekken, maar ook postinflammatoire hyperpigmentatie.<\/p>\n<h3>Van welke pigmentvlekken heb jij last?<\/h3>\n<p>Eigenlijk heb ik van alles last, ouderdomsvlekken op mijn armen en benen maar ook depigmentatie,\u00a0 de witte vlekjes. Het wordt er allemaal niet mooier op. Zonbescherming is zeer belangrijk voor het voorkomen van pigmentvlekken, met name in de lente en de zomer is het belangrijk om je goed te beschermen tegen de uv stralen.<\/p>\n<h3>Gebruik je altijd zonbescherming?<\/h3>\n<p>Ja, elke dag het hele jaar door. Dus ook in de winter. Ik fiets elke dag naar mijn werk en op de heen- en terugweg geniet ik van de zon die dan op mijn gezicht schijnt. Altijd denk ik wel, fijn dat ik voldoende bescherming op heb gedaan.<\/p>\n<h3>Hou je rekening in de lente en zomer met je pigmentvlekken?<\/h3>\n<p>Ja, elke dag. ik bescherm mijn gezicht goed omdat ik niet meer pigmentvlekken erbij wil krijgen.<\/p>\n<p>Je bent docent Gezond en Welzijn en je hebt gezondheidswetenschappen gestudeerd.<\/p>\n<h3>Wat geef jij je studenten mee over zonbescherming tijdens de les?<\/h3>\n<p>Dat je zuinig op je huid moet zijn en je lichaam en gezicht goed moet beschermen tegen de zon en UV straling. De meeste studenten komen weinig buiten dus als tip geef ik ze mee dat ze elke dag 30 minuten buiten moeten gaan lopen voor de aanmaak vitamine D. Zonlicht is goed voor je lichaam maar je moet je huid wel voldoende beschermen, ook in de winter.<\/p>\n<h3>Heb je tips voor andere mensen die pigmentvlekken hebben?<\/h3>\n<p>Wees zuinig op je huid en gebruik de hoogst mogelijke 50 Factor. Hierdoor bescherm je huid optimaal en toch krijg je een mooie bruine kleur zonder meer pigmentvlekken.\u00a0 Door de Sunday Brush te gebruiken zie je minder de pigmentvlekken en je wordt heel mooi langzaam bruin.
