Wat is UV?<\/h2>\n

UV staat voor ultraviolet. Met UV stralen, bedoelt men de ultraviolette stralen die er dagelijks zijn. Maar wat zijn UV stralen?<\/p>\n

De zon geeft Ultraviolet Straling af (UV) deze UV straling bestaat uit 3 verschillende vormen, UVA, UVB en UVC stralen.<\/p>\n

UVA stralen<\/h3>\n

UVA stralen voelen we niet op onze huid, maar dringen wel diep door in de huid. De UVA stralen vormen het grootste deel van de ultraviolette straling, zo\u2019n 95%. Omdat UVA stralen zo diep in de huid doordringen zorgen zij op de lange termijn voor de rimpels en huidveroudering en kunnen zelfs huidkanker veroorzaken. De ouderdomsvlekjes op onze huid komen van de UVA straling, waaraan we dagelijks blootgesteld zijn.<\/p>\n

UVA-stralen gaan ook door kleding en\u00a0 glas en ook op bewolkte dagen wordt de huid blootgesteld aan UVA straling.<\/p>\n

UVB stralen<\/h3>\n

De UVB stralen daarentegen zijn wel voelbaar en UVB stralen zijn verantwoordelijk dat je huid bruin kleurt en verbrandt als de huid te veel en te lang is blootgesteld aan de zon. UVB stralen dringen niet diep in de huid door, maar beschadigen alleen de buitenste laag van de huid. Als je verbrand bent en je huid vervelt is dat de buitenste huidlaag. UVB stralen gaan niet door glas of kleding.<\/p>\n

UVC stralen<\/h3>\n

Er zijn, naast UVA en UVB stralen, ook nog UVC stralen en deze stralen worden tegengehouden door de atmosfeer en hebben geen invloed op onze huid.<\/p>\n

Er is enkel \u00e9\u00e9n logo om aan te geven of het zonneproduct de bescherming biedt tegen UVA en UVB. Enkel het UVA logo geeft aan dat het product tegen UVA beschermd. Bescherming tegen UVB wordt aangegeven met de SPF factor, hoe hoger de factor, des te meer UVB bescherming tegen verbranding.<\/p>\n

Het logo van UVB, zoals hierboven wordt aangegeven wordt steeds meer op producten weergeven, om duidelijk te maken dat het product ook tegen UVB beschermd. Indien het zonneproduct beschermd tegen zowel de UVA als de UVB stralen wordt dit een breed spectrum zonbescherming genoemd.<\/p>\n

Dagelijkse UV bescherming<\/h3>\n

Om je dagelijks op een goed manier te beschermen tegen de zon is het een goede dagelijkse UV bescherming van belang. Dit kan in de vorm van een cr\u00e8me, lotion of een spray. Maar je kan je huid nu ook beschermen in de vorm van poeder met SPF.<\/p>\n

Zonbescherming in poedervorm<\/h3>\n

Sunday Brush is een nieuwe innovatieve manier van zonbescherming in poedervorm, oftewel zonbeschermingspoeder of zonnepoeder. Het zonnepoeder bestaat uit een mineraal poeder met een SPF factor van 50, die zowel tegen de UVA en UVB stralen beschermd.<\/p>\n
